Abatec is excited to be partnering with a leading contractor in the infrastructure sector, delivering major projects across the Thames Water Framework. We are currently seeking experienced Site Agents to join our client’s team and manage key water infrastructure projects across the region.

Role Overview
As a Site Agent, you will be responsible for managing infrastructure projects within the Water stream, overseeing operations from contract award through to completion. You will manage resources, budgets, safety, quality, and environmental systems to ensure successful project delivery.
You will report to a Contracts Manager or Project Manager, depending on the complexity and value of the projects assigned to you.
Key Responsibilities
✅ Managing water infrastructure projects within the Thames Water Framework.
✅ Overseeing site activities, ensuring compliance with health, safety, and environmental regulations.
✅ Leading and coordinating project teams, subcontractors, and site personnel.
✅ Managing budget control, procurement, and financial performance.
✅ Driving project delivery, ensuring timelines, cost control, and quality assurance.
✅ Communicating effectively with stakeholders, ensuring alignment on project goals.
Requirements
✔️ Degree in Civil Engineering or Construction Management (or equivalent).
✔️ Proven experience managing complex infrastructure projects (e.g., LUL, HA, Water Companies, and Petro/Chem industries).
✔️ Strong background in site management and engineering project delivery.
✔️ CSCS card, SMSTS (5-day), First Aid at Work (4-day), and National Water Hygiene card.
✔️ Chartered status or working towards chartered status.
✔️ Knowledge of contract management, procurement, and technical specifications.
✔️ Evidence of relevant post-graduation practical training (e.g., Form of Contracts, Falsework Appreciation, Concrete Technology, H&S Management).
Salary & Benefits
💰 £55,000 – £60,000 per annum (DOE).
🚗 Car allowance.
📍 Projects based within the Thames Water Framework region.
