The Role
We are looking for a practical and mechanically minded Trainee CNC Operator to join the team.
The ideal candidate will have some previous experience operating CNC machinery, production equipment or other mechanical machinery. Full training will be provided to the right candidate.
Working Hours
Monday to Friday – overtime available
Shifts may include:
- 8:00am – 4:00pm
- 6:00am – 2:00pm
- 2:00pm – 10:00pm

Duties:
- Operate machinery to carry out tasks such as cutting, drilling and milling
- Set and adjust machinery as required
- Read and interpret technical drawings and work instructions
- Carry out quality checks on finished components
- Use hand and power tools where required
- Maintain and clean machinery and the surrounding work area
- Follow all health & safety and quality procedures
Requirements:
- Some mechanical knowledge and experience using hand tools
- Previous CNC or machine operating experience would be advantageous
- Press brake experience would be an advantage
- Familiarity with logic controllers would be beneficial
- Previous experience within a manufacturing, warehouse or production environment
- Good attention to detail and willingness to learn
All training will be provided to the right candidate.
