Abatec is currently recruiting for an experienced Stores Warehouse Assistant / Counterbalance FLT Driver to join our client based in Weston-super-Mare.
This is a fantastic long-term opportunity for someone with a hands-on warehouse or stores background who is looking for a stable role within a busy logistics and production environment.
Key Responsibilities
- Operating a Counterbalance Forklift safely and efficiently.
- Loading and unloading deliveries.
- Supplying production teams with materials.
- Managing stock movements and maintaining accurate stores records.
- Processing goods in and goods out.
- Picking and preparing orders.
- Maintaining a clean, organised and safe working environment.
- Supporting general warehouse and logistics operations.
What We’re Looking For
- Valid Counterbalance Forklift Licence – essential.
- Full UK Driving Licence with no penalty points – essential.
- Previous experience in warehouse, stores, logistics or production.
- Good organisational and communication skills.
- A reliable, practical and safety-conscious approach.
- Willingness to carry out hands-on warehouse duties.
