Senior Quantity Surveyor required by reputable tier one Civil Engineering contractor on a permanent basis. Abatec is a recruitment agency assisting a client that is well established across the region and has security of work on highways and general civil engineering schemes. This position will be site based in Bristol but require site visits 1-3 days per week, with the successful post-holder being responsible for commercially managing a project with a value in from £1 to £3 million.
As Senior Quantity Surveyor you will:
- Have worked for Civil Engineering contractors, ideally on highways, earthworks, drainage projects
- Have experience of administering contracts, resolving contract issues, valuations, CE’s etc.
- Have working knowledge of NEC contracts.
Our client requires a Senior Quantity Surveyor with:
- Degree qualification in Quantity Surveying
- Excellent communication skills.
- Experience of commercially managing multi-million pound schemes.
Salary and benefits include:
- Up to £65,000 per annum
- Car allowance
- 27 days paid annual leave plus bank holidays
- Company pension scheme etc
