Abatec is working with a regional Civil Engineering contractor who deliver Highway & Infrastructure schemes across the region. We are currently recruiting for a Project Manager who has experience of managing schemes with values from £5M – £15M. This is a fantastic opportunity to join a company that has stability of work in the South West.
As Project Manager you will:
- Report into a Contracts Manager, giving updates on programme, budgetary and design issues etc.
- Ensure that industry health & safety legislation and standards are upheld.
- Liaise regularly with the client on any concerns at regular project meetings.
- Prepare, check and implement designs on site in accordance with the relevant drawings and specification.
- Oversee specialist subcontractors including surfacing and traffic management contractors.
Our client requires a Site Engineer/Manager with:
- Valid CSCS, SMSTS and First Aid certificates.
- A good understating of construction health & safety protocols.
- Excellent communication skills.
- HND/HNC/Degree in Civil Engineering.
Salary and benefits include:
- Up to £65,000
- Company vehicle or car allowance
- Company pension, paid annual leave etc.
