Project Manager

Abatec is working with a regional Civil Engineering contractor who deliver Highway & Infrastructure schemes across the region. We are currently recruiting for a Project Manager who has experience of managing schemes with values from £5M – £15M. This is a fantastic opportunity to join a company that has stability of work in the South West.

As Project Manager you will:

  • Report into a Contracts Manager, giving updates on programme, budgetary and design issues etc.
  • Ensure that industry health & safety legislation and standards are upheld.
  • Liaise regularly with the client on any concerns at regular project meetings.
  • Prepare, check and implement designs on site in accordance with the relevant drawings and specification.
  • Oversee specialist subcontractors including surfacing and traffic management contractors.

Our client requires a Site Engineer/Manager with:

  • Valid CSCS, SMSTS and First Aid certificates.
  • A good understating of construction health & safety protocols.
  • Excellent communication skills.
  • HND/HNC/Degree in Civil Engineering.

Salary and benefits include:

  • Up to £65,000
  • Company vehicle or car allowance
  • Company pension, paid annual leave etc.
