Join our clients Exeter based engineering team as a Principal EICA Engineer in a flexible, hybrid role. Reporting to the Regional Delivery Leader, you will drive technical excellence across multi-million-pound clean water turnkey and engineering projects—delivering top-tier design solutions that mitigate risk and optimise profitability. You will lead design coordination and produce key documents and drawings that strictly align with health, safety, and industry standards.
As Principal EICA Engineer you will:
- Be responsible for producing cost-effective design layouts to meet specification requirements and which can be constructed and commissioned effectively.
- Ensure that designs take into account all environmental and health & safety requirements.
- Write, monitor and review procedures and processes, ensuring continued development of the department.
- Assist in supervising and developing staff.
- Coordinate designs with all internal and external stakeholders
- Provide estimates and feedback for the Proposals department.
- Maintain files and records throughout the duration of contracts.
Our client requires a Principal EICA Engineer with:
- HND/Degree in relevant engineering discipline
- A membership of a professional institution (chartered)
- Experience of producing designs of process plant systems, ideally within the Water sector.
- Previous experience with managing a team of staff
- The ability to present technical proposals clearly and with confidence
Location: This role is based in Exeter and offers hybrid working. There will also be occasional travel to our clients offices in Bristol
Salary: Up to£70,000 per annum
