Abatec are seeking reliable and skilled Painters and Decorators to join a busy contractor working across projects in Bath, Bristol, and Trowbridge.
The successful candidates will play a vital role in delivering high-quality finishes on a range of commercial projects. This position requires attention to detail, a strong work ethic, and the ability to work both independently and as part of a team.
You will need.
CSCS or CPCS
PPE
Painting and decorating experience
Responsibilities
• Carry out all aspects of painting and decorating, including surface preparation, priming, and finishing.
• Apply paints, varnishes, and other finishes to a high standard.
• Prepare surfaces by sanding, filling, and cleaning prior to application.
• Ensure all work is completed in line with health and safety regulations.
• Maintain a clean and organised work environment.
• Work collaboratively with other trades to meet project deadlines.
• Report any issues or defects to supervisors promptly.
Experience
• Previous experience as a Painter and Decorator is essential.
• Strong attention to detail and a high-quality finish is required.
• Ability to work efficiently both independently and as part of a team.
• Good knowledge of materials, tools, and techniques.
• Reliable, punctual, and professional attitude.
You’ll ideally have
Own tools
Full UK driving licence
Experience on commercial sites
