Machine Operator – Bridgwater TA6 – 12-Hour Shifts | 4 On / 4 Off (Days & Nights)
We are currently recruiting on behalf of a well-established and expanding manufacturing business , seeking an experienced Machine Operator / Setter to strengthen their production team.
As a Machine Operator, you will play a key part in ensuring smooth and efficient production operations. Your responsibilities will include:
- Setting up, operating, and adjusting machinery in a safe and efficient manner
- Monitoring production lines to minimise downtime and waste
- Cleaning equipment between production runs and completing production records
- Assisting with basic maintenance tasks and continuous improvement initiatives
- Working flexibly across different machines and rotating day/night shifts
About you
- Previous experience in a manufacturing, FMCG, or food production environment
- Proven machine operating or setting experience
- A strong eye for detail with a proactive, team-oriented approach
- Comfortable working rotating 12-hour day and night shifts
Shifts & Pay:
- 12-hour shifts: 06:30–18:30 / 18:30–06:30
- 4 on / 4 off rotation, offering an excellent work-life balance
- £13.39 – £15.91 per hour DOE + Overtime paid at £ 20.09 – £ 23.87ph
