Abatec are seeking reliable and skilled Handymen to join a busy contractor working across projects in Bristol and Bath.
The successful candidates will play a vital role in supporting site operations across a range of commercial projects, ensuring general maintenance and finishing tasks are completed efficiently and to a high standard. This position requires versatility, a strong work ethic, and the ability to work both independently and as part of a team.

PPE
Handyman / multi-trade experience
Responsibilities
• Carry out a variety of general maintenance and repair tasks on site.
• Perform basic carpentry, patching, painting, and snagging works.
• Assist with installation and minor repairs across multiple trades.
• Ensure all work is completed in line with health and safety regulations.
• Maintain a clean and organised work environment.
• Support site teams to ensure project deadlines are met.
• Report any issues or defects to supervisors promptly.
Experience
• Previous experience as a Handyman or in a multi-trade role is essential.
• Ability to turn your hand to a variety of trades.
• Strong attention to detail and problem-solving skills.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
• Reliable, punctual, and professional attitude.
You’ll ideally have
Own tools
Full UK driving licence
Experience on commercial sites
