Abatec are recruiting a freelance Senior Quantity Surveyor to join a specialist Civil Engineering contractor operating across Devon. Our client is interested in a freelance Senior Quantity Surveyor that has experience working with groundworks contractors.
As Senior Quantity Surveyor you will:
- Maintain accurate records, control and reconcile costs and value, report variances against agreed performance, compliance and finance targets.
- Take control of change management and manage final accounts.
- Be responsible for subcontract procurement and managing their accounts.
Our client requires a Senior Quantity Surveyor with:
- Previous experience of working with civil engineering contractors.
- Experience of commercially delivering multi-million-pound schemes.
- Strong commercial awareness and acumen.
- Degree or equivalent in Quantity Surveying.
- Experience of NEC forms of contract.
Salary and benefits include:
£400-£500 per day CIS Umbrella
