Abatec are recruiting for a CNC Machine Operator (Trainee considered) to join our client’s team in the Yatton/Clevedon area. This is a full-time, Monday to Friday role, with overtime available.
What We’re Looking For:
The ideal candidate will have previous experience as a CNC Operator or in a similar role in a manufacturing environment., working with production equipment or some engineering knowledge.
Key Responsibilities:
- Operating CNC machines to carry out cutting, drilling, milling, and other machining tasks
- Reading and interpreting technical drawings and blueprints
- Conducting quality checks on finished products
- Maintaining and cleaning CNC machinery
Requirements:
- Basic mechanical / engineering knowledge and experience using hand tools (advantageous)
- Experience in materials handling within a warehouse setting is advantageous.
- Ability to use hand tools effectively and safely in the assembly process.
- Excellent attention to detail and commitment to producing high-quality work.
- Familiarity with logic controllers (beneficial but not essential)
- Previous experience in a manufacturing or production environment
