We are recruiting on behalf of our client for reliable class 2 drivers to join their team in a permanent, full-time position.
This is an excellent opportunity for a professional driver looking for a stable Monday to Friday role, with no bank holiday working and the chance to travel throughout the UK.
The Role
As a Driver, you will be responsible for delivering products across the UK mainland, ensuring all deliveries are completed safely, efficiently, and on time. The role involves manual handling, including unloading at customer sites, so a good level of physical fitness is essential.
Occasional overnight stays may be required depending on delivery schedules.
Key Responsibilities
- Delivering goods to customers across the UK mainland.
- Ensuring safe, accurate, and timely deliveries.
- Assisting with the unloading of deliveries, including heavy items.
- Completing digital vehicle checks and inspections.
- Maintaining accurate delivery documentation.
- Providing excellent customer service and representing the business professionally at all times.
Requirements
- Valid 7.5t or above licence
- Excellent driving record.
- Strong work ethic with reliable attendance.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- Good communication and customer service skills.
- Strong navigation skills; GPS experience is advantageous.
- Physically fit and capable of lifting and manoeuvring heavy roofing and cladding materials.

Experience & QualificationsEssential
