Abatec are seeking reliable and skilled Carpenters to join a busy contractor working across projects in Bristol and Bath.
The successful candidates will play a vital role in delivering high-quality carpentry work on a range of commercial projects. This position requires precision, a strong work ethic, and the ability to work both independently and as part of a team.
You will need.
CSCS or CPCS
PPE
Carpentry experience
Responsibilities
• Carry out all aspects of carpentry, including first fix and second fix work.
• Install doors, frames, skirting, architraves, and other timber components.
• Read and interpret drawings and specifications.
• Measure, cut, and assemble materials to a high standard.
• Ensure all work is completed in line with health and safety regulations.
• Maintain a clean and organised work environment.
• Collaborate with other trades to ensure project deadlines are met.
• Report any issues or defects to supervisors promptly.
Experience
• Previous experience as a Carpenter is essential.
• Ability to complete both first fix and second fix carpentry.
• Strong attention to detail and high-quality finish.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
• Reliable, punctual, and professional attitude.
You’ll ideally have
Own tools
Full UK driving licence
Experience on commercial sites
