Abatec are currently recruiting for an experienced Bid Manager, to join our client, a Global Civil Engineering contractor with a UK turnover in excess of £50million. This position will be based in Swindon, supporting their Work Winning team with PQQ and Tender responses, therefore our client requires a Bid Manager with a Civil Engineering background who can add value to their Pre-Construction team. Although this position is based out of the Swindon office there will be an element of flexibility with hybrid working.
As Bid Manager you will:
- Drive success and achievement within the Pre-Construction team
- Evaluate strategies and resources, enhancing the performance of the team
- Managing tender documentation
- Complete PQQ’s
- Track bid/tender releases
- Regularly liaise with the senior management team
- Deliver proposals to deadlines
Our client requires a Bid Manager with:
- HND/Degree qualified (ideally)
- Experience of working within the Civil Engineering sector (preferred)
- Excellent written/verbal communication skills
- Ability to work under pressure and to deadlines
Salary/Benefits:
- Up to £65,000 per annum
- Company vehicle, car allowance
