Abatec Recruitment Pledges to Net Zero and Installs EV Charging Points
Following Abatec Recruitments pledge to a Future Net Zero and as part of our journey to reduce our carbon footprint.
Abatec Recruitment, as a leading recruitment agency in the UK, we have pledged to achieve net zero carbon emissions by 2030. As part of this commitment, the company has recently installed two electric vehicle (EV) charging points at its headquarters in Weston-super-Mare.
The EV charging points are part of Abatec Recruitment’s wider sustainability strategy, which also includes initiatives such as reducing paper usage, recycling more materials, and using energy-efficient appliances.
“We are committed to reducing our carbon footprint and making a positive contribution to the environment,” said Richard Buchanan, Managing Director of Abatec Recruitment. “The installation of these EV charging points is a significant step forward in our journey to net zero.”
The EV charging points are available for use by Abatec Recruitment employees and visitors. The company is also planning to install more EV charging points at its other recruitment office in Bristol.
“We believe that EV charging points are an important part of the infrastructure that is needed to support the growth of electric vehicles,” said Buchanan. “We are proud to be able to offer this service to our employees and visitors, and we hope that it will encourage more people to switch to electric vehicles.”
In addition to installing EV charging points, Abatec Recruitment is also taking other steps to reduce its carbon footprint. The company has reduced its paper usage by 50% in the past year, and it is now recycling more materials. Abatec Recruitment is also using energy-efficient appliances, such as LED light bulbs and energy-saving thermostats.
