Decide if you are looking for temporary or permanent work, or both; temporary work can come in all different shapes and sizes with duration of the assignment ranging from 1 day to 12 months, or sometimes even longer. We also recruit for permanent vacancies and sometimes have access to roles you wouldn’t normally see advertised.

  • Ensure you have checked both the spelling and grammar – sometimes the spell checkers will not pick up on all mistakes, so ask someone else to read through your CV for you.
  • Tailor your CV for a job, rather than sending out a generic CV that may be suitable for a particular role to showcase the skills needed for a particular role and that you are suited for that role.
  • Highlight your achievements, showing that you’re qualified for the job.
  • Ensure that your contact information is up-to-date.

At Abatec Recruitment, your recruiter can go through your CV with you and guide you to ensuring your CV is the best it can be and that it is relevant to the type of jobs you are looking for.

No, there are no fees for job seekers who use our recruitment services. Apply today for any roles you think would suit you – we are always looking for new candidates.

We will provide details of the hiring company once we have assessed your suitability and have confirmed you are interested in the role.

You will need to complete a timesheet and get it signed off by the client. We advise you to send in your timesheet after your last working day of the week. The latest we can receive your timesheet is Wednesday at midday, this will then be processed by our accounts team to be paid on Friday of each week.

The cost will vary depending on the recruitment needs of your business. For permanent recruitment services in most cases, we charge a percentage of the total salary package offered to the successful candidate. Abatec Recruitment will do our best to provide an estimate of how long we think it will take to fill a role. We base this estimation on our past experiences with similar roles, as well as the current demand for candidates in the market. Once we have an idea of how long we think it will take, we then work with our clients to ensure that their expectations are realistic and achievable.

There can be unforeseen circumstances that delays the process (such as a candidate accepting another offer) but we do our best to keep our clients updated throughout the entire process so that they can make any necessary adjustments along the way.
